What can be repaired
A single split or a small area of localised damage in lead that's otherwise in good condition can usually be welded or patched, provided the surrounding lead is still sound.
Diagnosing the actual problem
Because valley leaks can travel before showing up as a stain, we trace the water back to its actual source in the valley rather than assuming the nearest visible mark is the leak point.
When repair isn't enough
Widespread thinning, multiple splits, or lead that's simply reached the end of its serviceable life needs replacing — we'll tell you honestly if a repair is only a short-term fix.
