The junction where the dormer cheek meets the main roof, and the flat or low-pitched dormer roof itself, are the two most common places we find leaks originating.
Getting the detailing right
Dormer leadwork needs to be dressed individually to the specific angles involved, since off-the-shelf flashing rarely fits the compound angles a dormer creates properly.
